I've only used this a few times, but with a product such as this I feel like I know enough to give an honest review.
The journal itself is very nice. The Weightlifting House logo is embossed into the front. which is a classy touch. The spine where the journal is bound has some space between it and the vegan leather covering the outside, which doesn't feel as premium as if the two were completely flush, but it gives me confidence in its longevity.
The layout for the recording of training sessions is very, very nice. I enjoy the section for declaring your intention in training for the day and the fact that the "plan" section is as big as the "actual" session, which serves as a way to premeditate on your lifts and then to reflect. These sections have been very good for my training. Because I have the space to plan my lifts, I approach my training with more intensity and purpose. I find myself writing a little too much and often run out of room. This is not a design fault, though. The sections are large and fill up the page to the margins. I love that there is a section for your current cycle. I can see this making looking through past sessions a breeze. Some may feel otherwise about my next thought on the layout, but I like that the sections for sleep, nutrition, and fatigue are small, so small that you can fit max three words in them, if you write small enough. I have had training journals in the past where nutrition recording took up half the journal. Although your nutrition and rest are crucial to a good day in the gym, this is a training journal, not a nutrition journal.
This journal also has a section for tracking PRs prior to starting training with this journal, as well as empty graphs to track progress in lifts, time spent in the gym, fatigue, etc., in any time frame that you want. Every 40 pages or so, there is a space to reflect on how good your sleep, nutrition, and fatigue have been, how difficult your training has been, and what has been going well, what you want to be better, what you need to do to achieve that, what you need to stop doing, and what you need to continue doing. I know that you could record PRs in the "what has been going well" section, but I think it'd be nice if there were a section just to record new PRs. The graphs are nice to track PRs if you want, but I think a dedicated section in the reflections would be nice.
The only bad thing about this journal is the visibility of the text. The font is nice, but the color of the text is such a light gray that it nearly blends into the page. I find myself squinting when looking at text in the journal. It's such an annoyance that the star I deducted was exclusively because of this. Otherwise, I love this journal and can't wait to fill it up!

Just buy it. I’ve been using the journal for about 3 months now, so I feel like I’m comfortable saying that it’s absolutely impacting my training in a positive way. I’d say it’s a ‘must have’ item for anyone new to weightlifting or experienced lifters who are looking for more insight. Can you write all the same stuff in a cheap book? Sure. Will you if you’re not prompted to? I definitely didn’t before purchasing this.

It’s obvious that a lot of time went into planning the layout & making sure that the needed & relevant info is all there without being so data intensive you won’t use it. It is quick & easy to use but still detailed.

This book is extremely well made & as someone who loves to keep old training logs it should hold up & look nice on a forever. It’s a great journal. You get what you pay for sometimes & this is something you absolutely should spend the money on.

This training journal is great. It's nice balance between tracking the qualitative and quantitative aspects of a workout.

Absolutely love the training journal. There's something about physical pen and paper that beats using spreadsheets for tracking.
